Mountain Runners of Mt. Shasta,
California welcomes you to our new website and to join us for this family
fun and healthy annual July 4th event with 3 walks or
races to participate in with great food and
entertainment along the way including: gourmet
snacks, jazz choirs, country music bands, individual
singers & classical instrumentalists, clowns,
magicians, church choirs and belly dancers,
cheerleaders, gymnasts on the ground and surprises

Mountain Runners sponsors, volunteers and friends
are responsible for the creation and production of this
July 4th Birthday Party. Take a look at the 350
deciduous liquid amber trees along Main Street, new
industrial lights in the trees downtown, mini-park at
Castle Street and N. Mt. Shasta Blvd., benches and
planters, E. Castle Street trees and W. Castle Street
trees and mini-park. Also in place, the old fashioned
classical street lights, the downtown clock, downtown
thermometer, benches, the City Plaza and the median
strip on Lake Street. The profits from this event
produced all of them.
