Mt. Shasta July 4th Run/Walk T-shirt Design Contest

Mountain Runners, sponsors of the Mt Shasta July 4th Fun Run and Walk, is announcing the design competition for the 30th annual Wildflower T-shirt design for the year 2010. We would like to invite you to help in the design for this year’s one of a kind, 31st Anniversary T-shirt. The T-shirt color is undetermined at this time. First place winning artist will be awarded $500 plus six t-shirts and a sweatshirt. Second place winner will receive $250.

All designs must include: Mount Shasta itself, an indigenous flower from the Mount Shasta area, which has not been used in previous years, and include the words: Mt. Shasta 2010 July 4th Run/Walk. A copy of the July 4th Run/Walk Art Contest criteria and a list of all 29 previous wildflowers used, may be picked up from Dr. Parker’s office in Mt. Shasta at 822 Pine St. or the Siskiyou Arts Council, 418 N Mt Shasta Blvd orsee listing below.

This year Mountain Runners is partnering with the Siskiyou Arts Council to choose the design for the 31st year T-shirt
